6:05 pm

We are ready to begin the Battle of Indiana with Evansville and Indiana State. The crowd is large for the two teams playing with Evansville having the larger of the two crowds. Indiana State has Everett Clemons from Springfield, Il.  and TJ Bell out of Charleston.

Indiana State starts 4 seniors and one junior while Evansville has one sophomore, one junior and three seniors. Time for the jump ball!!The tip is controlled by the Purple Aces.

March 2nd 4:45 pm

All is quiet. The logos are being put in their places and the floor is being swept. Also, they measure each basket now that all teams are done with practice to make sure they didn’t inch down any.

Now we wait!

March 2nd, 4:15 pm

On the floor, the Wichita State Shockers are shooting around. The Evansville Purple Aces just finished. It is incredible how much larger these kids look when you are next to them. WSU coach Marshall is nowhere to be found as the assistant coaches bark out orders. This should be fun!

March 2nd, 3:00pm

It is a peaceful train ride to St. Louis. We are almost there as I have met several fans that represent the Loyola Ramblers and the ISU Redbirds. Both groups of fans are excited for the prospects of their team winning the Arch Madness. Stay tuned as I bring more after entering the Scottrade Center.
