It’s been a wild first day in NFL free agency, as many expected and as it is annually on the first day.
Big moves were made.
In the early hours of today, NFL reporter Ian Rapoport reported the Bears had closed a deal to bring in three-year quarterback Mike Glennon.
When Mike Glennon’s deal is finalized with #Bears, it’s expected to be 3 years for an average of $14.5M, source says. Will still draft a QB

Glennon’s played backup quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his short career. He’s thrown 30 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in that time.
Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery also agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
WR Alshon Jeffery just called me directly and said it is a "done deal" that he will go to the #Eagles

And to top things off, the Bears released quarterback Jay Cutler. We all knew it was coming, especially after Glennon was signed hours earlier.

However, the Bears did make some moves defensively with the signing of Quintin Demps.
