ESPN’s Vegas Flyaway 2/6/18-3/2/18

Official Contest Rules These rules apply to ESPN’s Vegas Flyaway promotion. These rules may be picked up at Advanced Media Partners 2006 W. Altorfer Drive, Peoria, Illinois 61615 during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. This contest is run in conjunction with the Vegas Flyaway on 98.5 Kiss FM found at www.kisspeoria.com.

Eligibility and Limitations. If an individual has been awarded a prize by WZPN-FM, WPIA-FM, WWCT-FM, OR WHPI-FM valued at over $600 within the past 30 days, that individual and all members of the individual’s household are ineligible from being awarded the grand prize.

This contest is open only to legal Illinois residents at least 21-years of age as determined by Advanced Media Partners.

A participant is restricted to winning only one prize.

To qualify, listen in to Jim Mattson’s show weekday afternoons from 3pm – 6pm for the opportunity to call in and qualify. Eighty people will be qualified on air from 2/6/18-3/2/18.

For additional ways to qualify, attend qualifying parties held at the Bullpen Sports Bar and Grill inside the Landmark located at 3225 N Dries Ln, Peoria, IL 61604. There will be  four qualifiying parties from 5pm – 7pm onFebruary 9, 16, and 23 and March 2, 2018.

Winner of  ESPN’s Vegas Flyaway will be randomly drawn at 7pm on Friday,  March 2 at the Bullpen Bar and Grill. Winner will be chosen at random from pre-qualified entries. Winner must be present.

ESPN’s Vegas Flyaway promotion is estimated to be about $1000. The winner and a guest will receive:

Prize excludes ground transportation to and from Airport, hotel incidentals, gratuities, or any other charges are not included in Prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner and guest must travel over dates with the group departure specified by the sponsor to receive all elements of prize, and on same itinerary. Prize is not transferable. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining proper documentation (e.g., valid photo ID, passport) prior to travel.

Prizes are non-transferable.

No purchase necessary.

Winner and guest must be 21 years of age or older.

Advanced Media Partners reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of any minor. Employees of Advanced Media Partners, this contest’s participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household. Prize awarded is not transferable unless otherwise stated. Prizes are awarded “as is”. Prize must be claimed within 30 days or it shall be forfeited. All winners must have photo identification, current mailing address, and social security number to receive prize. Winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes (local, state and federal) unless otherwise stated.

Publicity All participants and winner(s) grant. Advanced Media Partners exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use.

Release All participants and winner(s) waive any and all claims of liability against Advanced Media Partners, its employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss, which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the contest, or from the use of any prize.

Taxes Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to Advanced Media Partners, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Each winner must provide Advanced Media Partners with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize valued at $600 or more will be awarded. If the winner’s valid social security number or tax I. D, number is not provided, the prize will be forfeited. No exceptions. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from a Station will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

Telephone and Delivery Disclaimer Participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone equipment. Participants that enable the “Caller ID” block function will not be allowed to participate unless they enter their correct area code and telephone number. Advanced Media Partners disclaims all liability for the inability of a participant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond Advanced Media Partners’ control, or otherwise. Advanced Media Partners disclaims all liability for any delays, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method.

Decisions Advanced Media Partners reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. Further Advanced Media Partners will resolve any disputes or ambiguities concerning the rules and Advanced Media Partners’ decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. Advanced Media Partners reserves the right to modify or replace these rules at any time without notice. Verification that these rules are currently in force is the sole responsibility of the listener. Verification may be accomplished by telephoning the office at (309) 691-0101. Miscellaneous Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign an Advanced Media Partners release form to claim the prize. No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. Advanced Media Partners may substitute prizes of equivalent value, amend the rules or discontinue the contest at any time as announced on the station. Advanced Media Partners disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of this contest. Written copies of these rules are available during normal business hours at the business offices of the station and by mail from the station upon written request with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope. Entries must be handwritten, unless another form of entry is specifically authorized for the contest. No photocopying or mechanical reproduction of entry forms is permitted unless specifically authorized for the contest.

Compliance with Law. The conduct of this contest is governed by local and state law, which takes precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. Station shall follow the applicable local and state laws for conducting contests, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, running specific on-air disclaimers, providing specific written information about the contest, etc. as required by local and state law.
